As a Human, it's essential I remember I'm coming home (to God).
As an Aquarian, it's essential that I admit 'I don't know'.
As Alana, it's essential I forgive - myself and others.

These are the things which came to me in meditation the other day, and seem fitting to focus this blog on.  These, and being more simple. 

Methodically and bloodily removing attachments from my life in order to focus on the path the last few years, I've fooled myself into thinking I was 'doing the work', all the while still avoiding and escaping my feelings.

It has opened me up to how I've turned out *exactly* like my parents, who have feared much and lived small.  The crust around my heart has accumulated; I have become hard with fear and meanness to self and others.  There's no longer a payoff - it's not keeping me safe and not helping me improve.  

***It's time for a different way.***

While it's only a notion as yet, I see the light - that love can help me escape my prison, and melt the hate I've have held.  Love can lift me to take responsible right action.  If I trust love more than revenge or struggle, I can be lifted.
